Siimba Liives Long
TERRITORIES: NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA
Siimba Liives Long is an Ethiopian-American hip-hop artist who was born in NY, resides in Brooklyn, and grew up in the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. After moving back to the United States in 2013 and quitting his day job in pursuit of music, Siimba found himself homeless on the streets of Brooklyn. After resorting to selling drugs to finance his creative passion, Siimba turned bad to good by traveling back to his homeland of Addis Ababa and shooting his first two music videos W.I.A. and Cocaine Biimbie.
He first turned heads in October of 2015 when he premiered his first song and visual "Cocaine Bimbie" with Noisey. Siimbahas since collected a lot of attention after his music video, freestyles, and performance videos have gone viral on Facebook.
In the Summer of 2016 he was seen on stage at Panorama with A$AP Rocky, performed at Teambackpack Events, and sold out his first two headlining shows. Fall 2016 continues the upward trend for Siimba with nationwide and festival touring imminent.
