Baby Jane is an independent electronic artist from Los Angeles blending witch house, hardstyle, and ethereal pop into a sound that’s uniquely her own. Born to Soviet immigrants, she left high school at 14 to pursue songwriting full-time and later attended school to study music production, deepening her ability to shape her own sound. Inspired early on by the melancholic pop music of 1980s Russia, she draws from both her heritage and personal experience to create emotionally resonant, genre-defying work.

Growing up with a strong lisp, she kept her singing private for years, gradually developing a raw and emotional vocal style. Her music began to gain attention online, especially through TikTok and Spotify, where she now reaches nearly a million monthly listeners. In an effort for her grandparents to understand her songwriting, she occasionally includes verses in Russian, adding another layer of intimacy and cultural texture to her work. Her fanbase, known as The Coven, has grown steadily through her consistent online presence, distinctive sound, and unique lore.

Since the release of her 2025 album “A Grave Marked Strange”, Baby Jane has exploded onto the electronic music scene, driven by her genre-bending sound, viral hooks, and fully immersive aesthetic world. With more than half a million followers across social media and a devoted Discord community known as her “Coven,” Jane is captivating a global audience while carving out a lane entirely her own.

The viral success of “Starry Eyed” and “Eternal Embrace” has introduced listeners around the world to Baby Jane’s emotionally charged, melancholic sound. She has also collaborated with LONOWN and Akiaura, pioneers of angelcore and leading figures in the new wave of electronic music emerging from Eastern Europe.

Her viral HÖR Berlin set showcased her distinctive “gothic house” style, blending techno, witch house, eurodance, and hardstyle. Her unique hybrid live show opens with a DJ set before transitioning into a live performance of her songs weaving horror scores and self written poetry in her transitions creating an immersive experience for fans. Her Discord community extends into the world of Terem, a self-penned mythology centered on three archetypes, the occult, and spirituality.

Baby Jane’s album, Winter Forever, marks the next evolution of the sound that has brought her nearly one million monthly listeners. It is the flickering apartment light in the blue hour of a brutalist city, a quiet signal of life against concrete vastness. It inhabits cold surrealism and ethereal horror, mirroring the glimmering melancholy at its core. Standing at the crest of a new wave of internet-native artists, Baby Jane is redefining what the future of EDM looks like.
