After spending the pandemic years honing his skills in the studio to help build on the live shows he began playing in 2021 under his legal name, the skill and passion for the craft was evident. His playful energy and vibe curation quickly earned him bookings supporting industry pioneers such as Chromeo & SG Lewis.

Sensing an opportunity to grow with a newfound knowledge & experience, Monty Kiddo was born. Armed with a new moniker but the same energy and infectious sound, Monty Kiddo has quickly surged up the ladder as one of Chicago’s premier music selectors which has led to him sharing stages with industry heavyweights such as John Summit, Gorgon City, Dom Dolla, ANOTR, Jungle, LF System, PRUNK and many more.

Having been sought after by some of the world's biggest names to support their Chicago dates, Monty also founded the burgeoning “House Calls” branded events, with his partners, which continue to go from strength to strength. Alongside these key support slots - Monty Kiddo has made waves locally by selling out his last three headline shows which have landed him a main stage slot on Arc Music Festival and DJ sets around the country in the likes of New York, DC, Miami and more.

Musically, he continues to build his repertoire with key releases on powerhouse labels such as Ministry of Sound, Tinted Records, House U & Future Disco to name a few, where he continues to see garner strong DJ Support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Gorgon City, Prunk, LF System, Sarah Story, LP Giobbi & many more. With a stacked release schedule in 2025, Monty is a name to look out for throughout this year.
