Tom Staar has spent the last few years solidifying his name amongst the most adaptable and durable within the ever-changing house music scene. His ability to bring his wide-reaching and deep-rooted house music sensibilities to blend into flawless big-room production has been dubbed the next big thing, with remixes being sought out from the likes of Axwell & Ingrosso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Sam Feldt name a few. Tom has been frequently seen on main stages around the world with notable performances for industry heavyweight festivals such as Tomorrowland, Tomorrowworld, Creamfields, Mysteryland, and Global Gathering to name a few, as well as tours to the USA, Europe, Australia, and Asia. His sophisticated approach to studio productions has seen releases on the top labels in dance music such as Axtone, Size, Armada, and Spinnin as well as his own imprint Staar Traxx, consistently placing him into the Beatport Top 10.

2016 saw an evolutionary year of development, where the kingpin of “TheCartel” graced such labels as Spinnin, Size, and Axtone. Tom also cemented his reputation receiving an IDMA award for his collaboration with Kryder and TheWulf, ‘De Puta Madre’.

Following these successes, the summer saw a continued presence at some of the best nightclubs in the world including Womb Tokyo, Ministry Of SoundLondon, Space Miami, Ushuaia, and Pacha Ibiza as well as main stage performances at some of the world’s biggest festivals, Sensation White, Tomorrowland and A Summer Story to name a few. The momentum continued throughout the fall season with ‘The Funkatron’ rocketing to number 2 on Beatport’s Progressive House chart, and the massive anticipation of his own Cartel record ‘Me Sueno’ paying off with another Beatport top 10(House). Further music came in the form of stand-out remixes of FedericoScavo’s ‘Que Pasa’ and Armin Van Buurens ‘Dominator’ which rounded off the year.

From the launch of ‘The Cartel’ record label in the summer, Tom spearheaded the movement into the live arena from the US and through mainland Europe, including at the world-famous Ministry of Sound, and will include Asia Pacific in 2017. Once again evolving his hallmark sound into the year, Tom has multiple remixes coming over the next few months including Luciana-YeahYeah, Basement Jaxx -Bingo Bango, and his version of Ibiza classic MontanoItza Trumpet thing, along with original music to come on Spinnin and Cartel.
